What drew you to this 40 over 40 campaign?
Just the beautiful images that I saw.
If you could go back and tell your 20 year old self something that you think would change your life, what would it be?
Believe in yourself. You are more than capable.
What are you post proud of yourself for?
Having a son who is now 20 years old.
Running a few businesses.
Having a household
Starting a new business this year
Doing phycology
What are some goals or things you still want to do?
1. Qualify as a Physcologist, that’s going to take 6 years
2. I want to open my own phycology practice, maybe it’s a wellness centre
I’ve got big dreams

Has there/is there anyone in your life who has made a massive impact, if so, how?
Peter, Peter. He is my bestest friend in the whole world. He is the first man in my life, in my 20s, who said “I believe in you” and when he said those words I was like “oh ok, so there must be something that I am good at” and it changed everything. And he was my boss at my first corporate job.
My friends and family describe me as:
Fiesty. Caring. Compassionate. Serious. Playful
Thoughts on aging?
I’m ok. I’m okay with aging. There are ways we can keep ourselves looking young. Like exercising, eating properly, hanging out with the right people, being around positive people. It helps the aging process. Make better choices.
What do you think some of your best qualities are?
Empathy. Strength – internal strength. Got a good foundation. I’m able to problem solve, make decisions, move on, not get too attached
What advice do you have for other women 40+ out there?
Be curious about the world around you, but also about yourself internally. Have an open mind
What has gotten easier for you since turning 40?
Self acceptance
So I started my life coaching business in 2023 and that was after about 17 years in corporate and it was specifically to help others. To help women. To help men to help whoever needed the help to see the capabilities they have in themselves. People often get stuck. And they get stuck in their own mindsets and we need the help from someone else to see what our blindspots are. And that’s what I’m passionate about. Helping people to move forward.

And she helps them do this with confidence by guiding business owners through the most empowering, intentional and fun portrait sessions.
Her favourite clients are those who have never seen an incredible portrait of themselves. Or those who hate being photographed and protest that they are not photogenic.
