What should I expect?

My aim is to make this as easy going as possible for you, but while still showing you how much fun having your photo taken can be. The main focus here though, is to get you a few incredible portraits that align with your business or your job.

In just two hours, you’ll have professional, polished headshots that reflect your brand’s personality, without taking too much time out of your busy schedule.

We will have a chat before the photo session to determine what this portrait will look like for you and you will receive a guide to help you:

think about what to wear to your headshot. These suggestions will help get you started on working towards being intentional about attracting your ideal target market through your images.
With some ideas of what you might want to bring with to your headshot session.
With recommendations for how and where you can use your headshot so that your photo/s does some work for you!

At your shoot I will guide you fully through a handful of different poses. I will help show you exactly how to stand, direct you on where to place your hands, and work with you on where to look and even what facial expression to have so that we bring out the very best in you.

HOW HEADSHOT SESSIONS WORK

You are going to be surprised by how fun these shoots are!

CONSULTATION

We will sit down and go through what it is you are looking to achieve out of this portrait session, either in person or via zoom.

You will also have the opportunity to let me know if there is any particular way you would like to be photographed. I will guide you on what outfit/s to wear and bring with and if there is anything you are unsure about we will chat through your concerns. This is also your opportunity to ask me any questions you might have.

MAKEOVER

Jess, my lovely make up artist and hair stylist will be your first stop on the day of your portraits. She will help you have the style of camera-ready, custom make-up and hair style you want. You get to choose how much or how little make up you want, depending on whether you prefer a polished professional style or a more natural look as well as what style you want your hair to be in.

MUST DO: Plan to grab some other pieces of content after your headshot session. This is the perfect time to start filming some of those reels you’ve been meaning to start on for so long 😉

THE SHOOT

We will spend 20-30minutes in studio having the most fun working through a variety of poses, backdrops and outfits.

I will guide you, step by step, through every different pose. I have heard every objection imaginable, and I can assure you, I will look after you!

And I can assure you, this is way more fun than you could even imagine!

REVEAL SESSION

Directly after your headshot session you will receive a link to book your reveal session. Your reveal session is where I show you a collection of the photos taken to you.

We will go through your photos and choose your favourites. You receive 1 image as part of your headshot package, but you are also welcome to purchase additional image – what you buy is totally up to you!

A portrait planning and styling consultation
A photo preparation guide
Professional hair styling and make up for 1 person with my hair stylist and make up artist
A 20-30 minute fully directed studio portrait session
As many outfit changes as you can fit into 20-30min 😉
A reveal session (either online or printed)
1 high resolution, retouched image
