Sandra’s 40 over 40 Campaign Portraits

Meet lovely Sandra, another participant of the 40 over 40 campaign.  We decided to do the majority of Sandra’s portraits outdoors and in a space that aligned better with her brand. We ended up using an absolutely stunning venue; Champagne Living.

What drew you to this 40 over 40 campaign?

I was drawn to this campaign because it celebrates the beauty, wisdom, and strength that come with experience and maturity. As a woman who has navigated both personal and professional challenges, I deeply resonate with the message that life after 40 is a time of growth, self-discovery, and powerful new beginnings.

This campaign is more than a photo shoot for me—it’s an opportunity to share my journey and connect with other women who, like me, may have experienced setbacks but are ready to rise, flourish, and step fully into their power.

I believe that by sharing our stories, we inspire others to seek their highest potential. I also see this as a chance to introduce myself to women who may be on their own path of transformation—women I would be honoured to guide as they reconnect with their intuition, align with their purpose, and create lives they truly love.

If you could go back and tell your 20 year old self something that you think would change your life, what would it be?

I would tell her:

“Trust your intuition—it’s your greatest guide.”

I spent so many years seeking answers outside of myself, believing that success, happiness, and approval came from chasing external goals. But the truth is, everything you are searching for is already within you. Your intuition, your heart, and your inner wisdom know the way—listen to them.

“You don’t have to be perfect to be worthy.” Don’t waste your time hiding your flaws or fearing failure. It’s your realness—your resilience through setbacks and your courage to show up as you are—that will inspire and connect you with others.

Finally, I’d say:
“The hardest seasons will become your greatest teachers. Trust the journey, even when it feels like you’re lost. Every challenge is shaping you into the woman you are meant to be. And one day, you’ll use your story to light the way for others.”

And, oh—love yourself fiercely. You are enough.

What are you post proud of yourself for?

I am most proud of my ability to rise from my darkest moments and turn my pain into purpose. There was a time when I felt completely lost—broken by trauma, burnout, and self-doubt. But instead of letting those experiences define me, I chose to let them refine me. I sought healing, embraced self-awareness, and reconnected with my intuition and higher power.

I am proud that I didn’t just survive—I transformed. And now, I get to help others do the same through my coaching work.

I’m also incredibly proud of the woman I’ve become through it all—someone who leads with authenticity, who values service, and who strives to uplift others with everything I’ve learned.

Lastly, I’m proud that I have the courage to dream big—to write books, to speak on stages, to build a coaching platform that reaches people globally—all while staying true to who I am.

And the best part? I know this is only the beginning.

What are some goals or things you still want to do?

Publish Books that Inspire and Empower. Speak on Global Stages. Launch the Flourish Colab App. Walk the Camino. Create Retreats for Personal and Spiritual Growth. Travel More and Experience the World. Continue Growing Spiritually and Personally

“We are not meant to stay wounded. We are supposed to move through our tragedies and challenges and to help each other move through the many painful episodes of our lives… Wounds are the means through which we enter the hearts of other people. They are meant to teach us to become compassionate and wise.” — Caroline Myss

Has there/is there anyone in your life who has made a massive impact, if so, how?

Yes, several people have shaped my journey, but the most profound impact has come from those who walked with me through my hardest seasons.

There were a few deeply supportive people—mentors, loved ones, and spiritual guides—who saw me when I couldn’t fully see myself. They reminded me of my strength, my worth, and the light that was still within me, even when I felt lost in darkness. Their belief in me became a mirror, helping me believe in myself again. But if I had to name the greatest teacher, I would say: Life itself. The challenges, heartbreaks, and breakthroughs have been my greatest mentors. They taught me resilience, compassion, and the power of transformation—lessons that now guide my work as a coach.

I’m deeply grateful for every soul—friend, teacher, and even adversary—who has been part of my path. Each has left an imprint, helping me become the person I am today.

My friends and family describe me as:

Wise and Insightful, Caring and Nurturing, Resilient and Strong Authentic and Real and lastly as a Partner in Crime – be it for a glass of wine or being mischievous!

Thoughts on aging?

I see ageing as a gift—a time when wisdom deepens, authenticity shines, and life aligns with what truly matters. With age comes clarity, confidence, and the freedom to fully be who you are.

I believe our 40s, 50s, and beyond are a time to flourish—to step into our power and show that the best chapters are often the ones still ahead.

What do you think some of your best qualities are?

Intuitive: I have a deep ability to listen—beyond words—to what people are truly experiencing. It helps me guide clients to their own insights and breakthroughs. Compassionate: My life experiences have taught me empathy. I care deeply about people’s journeys and hold space for them without judgment. Resilient: I’ve faced challenges that could have broken me, but instead, they became the foundation for my growth. I bring that strength into everything I do. Authentic: I show up as myself—flawed, real, and human. I believe that vulnerability creates true connection.

What advice do you have for other women 40+ out there?

Own your story—everything you’ve experienced has shaped you into who you are today. Trust your intuition; your inner voice knows the way. Remember, it’s never too late to chase your dreams—the best chapters are often ahead. Most importantly, let go of society’s expectations and flourish in your own, authentic way. Your 40s and beyond aren’t about ageing—they’re about evolving.

What has gotten easier for you since turning 40?

Being true to myself. I’ve let go of people-pleasing and the need for perfection. I trust my intuition more, embrace my flaws, and live with a deeper sense of purpose and authenticity.
