What is the wedding photography process?

I want you to have the best time at your wedding – and also walk away with photos you love as much as you love your partner 😉

Here is the basic process and what you can expect when booking me as your wedding photographer. Please note that depending on the package you take there will be additional steps added to this process.

PLANNING

Wedding dates book up fast, so choosing your photographer is something most couples do right at the start, and to avoid missing out on having your dream photographer photograph your wedding, I would suggest you also prioritise choosing your photographer.

We will start with your consultation (preferably in person otherwise via zoom) – this is where I get to learn all about you, and if you know the types/styles of photos that you want we can go over them here. Otherwise, don’t worry, I will help you figure that out 🙂

You can also let me know if you are looking at having any other photo sessions done before your wedding, such as engagement, boudoir etc.

(Some of my packages do include these for you already.)

YOUR BIG DAY

By this time I already know what you are wanting from your wedding photos and myself and my team (if you have opted to have more than just me) are ready to go off and capture your dream photos. Keeping in mind each wedding is unique, and we want to help you portray your uniqueness in your photos!

We will have already chatted about your timeline to ensure you have enough time for photos as well as time to enjoy your special day!

My goal on your wedding day is to help you have the most incredible day of your life, all while capturing photos to tell your unique wedding day story and creating jaw-dropping photos you will love for the rest of your days! I will help you with posing, how to stand, where to stand and help make you feel incredible while being photographed – while also capturing all the photos we discussed on your dream photo list. You don’t have to worry about a single thing!

CHOOSE YOUR PHOTOS

Within just 6 weeks your beautiful photos will be ready for you to view! You have a number of choices on how this viewing will be done, depending on the package you take, but this is your opportunity to go through all the photos I took and select your favourites to keep forever.

From these photos you have chosen I will put together your custom wedding album, but you will also have the option to purchase big beautiful framed photos, folio boxes or additional albums.

What does wedding photography cost?

My packages start at just R31 950 (which includes the photography, a collection of your photos and a beautiful custom designed album!). All of my packages are completely customisable as I understand everyone is unique and our needs are all different. But my packages do all come with a beautiful custom designed wedding album included (simply because wedding albums are absolutely gorgeous and everyone should have at least one – in my opinion).

I also have an al la carte menu I have created for you so that you can build your own wedding package from scratch!
