Yonita & Brandon’s Wedding

From the time Yonita and Brandon contacted me to photograph their wedding they told me their wedding was to be an intimate affair. Yonita and Brandon are not about going out all out and having the biggest best wedding party in town. This smaller stunning wedding held at, Olive & Twist, an Italian restaurant was perfect the two of them.

The restaurant has a stunning outdoor area including, a lawn where the tent for the ceremony was set up. The reception was held on a raised deck just off the restaurant. Yonita & Brandon’s wedding had the feeling of a simple but classy affair. Nothing was overdone and over extravagant, and the entire focus of the day was the beautiful love shared not only between Yoni & Brandon, but rather the love and kindness shared between the couple, their families, their friends and every person in attendance that day.

I was also informed that although they wanted photographs of their day, they weren’t keen on having a photo session. They are not about leaving their guests and loved ones while they went for a portrait session. So instead I pulled them aside for 10 minutes, took a couple portraits for them, and then continued to just capture the day.

I am super lucky to have always managed to get the most incredible couples booking me. Yoni and Brandon were no different. They are both so down to earth and genuine in everything that they say and do. They both also have a super fun side to them and seeing especially Yoni interacting with her brother and sister-in-law had me in stitches more than once. And watching the way Yoni and Brandon look at each other was especially heart warming.
