Meet Bhashni, the heart behind Evolving Minds. As she approaches her 60th birthday, she is embracing this season of life with wisdom, authenticity, and a deep desire to help others heal and reconnect with themselves.

Her 40 Over 40 portrait experience in Johannesburg wasn’t simply about celebrating another birthday. It was about honouring a life filled with growth, courage, and transformation, while creating portraits that reflect the woman she has become.

Through Breathwork and life coaching, Bhashni helps others discover their own inner strength. Today, we’re sharing more about the journey that brought her here.

The 40 over 40 campaign resonates deeply with me as it celebrates the beauty and wisdom of women as they embrace the journey of aging. Approaching my 60th milestone, I see this as a powerful opportunity to reflect on my life, to redefine and share my story, and to inspire others in my community—especially my three sons and grandchildren. I want to demonstrate that beauty is not only timeless but also grows richer with experiences and self-acceptance.

Aging, for me, is a profound journey of self-discovery and a celebration of the wisdom gathered through lived experiences. Each wrinkle tells a story; each gray hair is a testament to resilience. I believe the essence of aging is not just about the passage of time but the opportunities for growth and transformation it brings. It invites us to embrace life with grace, nurturing our inner beauty while sharing our stories and lessons with the younger generations.

I am most proud of the courage it has taken to follow my heart and to live authentically. My path as a Breathwork practitioner and life coach has been shaped by both triumphs and challenges, leading me to empower others to embark on their journeys of self-discovery. I cherish the connections I’ve built and the profound transformations I’ve facilitated, knowing that I am contributing to healing and growth in the lives of those I work with.
