CONSULTATION:

I will help her figure out how she wants to be photographed. We will plan and decide who she wants to be photographed with and customise her photo session specifically to her. During this consultation I will also help her pick out and decide exactly what to wear for her session as well as decide how professional, casual, glam or sexy she wants her session to be.

PROFESSIONAL HAIR AND MAKEUP:

One of my lovely professional hair stylists and make up artists will join us on the day of her session to help her have the style of camera-ready, custom make-up she wants. She will get to choose how much or how little make up she will have on and how glam or natural she wants her make up and hair to be.

PORTRAIT SESSION:

This is where I guide you every step of the way on how to stand, where to look, what to do with your arms, how to rest your hands and right down to how to position your fingertips!

She has absolutely nothing to worry about – I have heard every objection, and I can assure you I have got her covered!

She doesn’t feel photogenic? That’s my job to make her photogenic. She feels she needs to lose weight? Between posing, lighting and shooting angles, my camera and I can do better than 95% of the diets out there 😉

REVEAL SESSION:

About a week after her photo session she will be invited back to my studio where she will have the opportunity to see a printed selection of the portraits from her session – printed and matted portraits, of her!

This is when she will get to choose her complimentary images and decide if she would like to purchase more and have folio boxes, albums and/or framed prints made.

FAQ's

Who can participate?

This campaign is open to anyone who would like to nominate a special woman in their life. The portrait session itself takes place at our studio in Fairland, Johannesburg, so the nominated woman will need to be able to travel to us for her session, other than that, there are no restrictions. If she’s worth nominating, we want to hear about her.

Where do the portrait sessions take place?

This session will take place in my Johannesburg studio.

Can I purchase more portraits?

Absolutely. You will be presented with a selection of images at your reveal session and here you will be able to select your complementary 5 images as well as decide if you would like to purchase additional images.

I don’t usually wear make up.

The goal is to enhance your natural beauty, we are not going to change or transform you. My makeup artist keeps everything soft, natural, and true to you. But, you choose exactly how much or how little makeup you feel comfortable with.

I don’t have anything to wear.

You don’t need a big wardrobe. I guide you through outfit choices, and you’re welcome to bring a small selection from your closet. Together, we create looks that photograph well and reflect your personality.

I am not photogenic.

Most of my clients say this before their session, and nearly all of them leave saying they’ve never looked better. My job is to guide you with flattering angles, soft direction, and lighting that works for every woman. I’ve got you!

I don’t know how to pose.

You don’t have to. I guide you through every movement. How to sit, stand, soften your shoulders, position your hands, and where to look. You can relax and follow my direction.

When do I get to view the gallery of images?

Your reveal session takes place about 10-14 days after your portrait session. This is when you see your full gallery (either in person at the studio or via Zoom) and choose the portraits you’d like to purchase.
